1994. Four Westerners travel to besieged Sarajevo for a "safari": in exchange for money, a Serb militia grants them 72 hours at a sniper post. They have come seeking a thrill, a cause, a trophy, or a way to regain lost self-esteem. Yet the enemy remains out of reach. Then come fatigue, fear, a fatality, and injuries. One of the snipers suggests a different target: civilians. He shoots one down. The "sniper duel" contract turns into a crime. The group fractures, torn between those who want to stop and those driven to continue by the taste of blood—or by fear of that shooter.
